we spent the glorious holiday in Oklahoma at m&d adair's house.
it was great! everyone was there! all the siblings and kids. who could ask for more?
we ate way too much but had a great time!
the highlight for me was Christmas eve night we did a skit of the forgotten carols. it was so precious. i had never heard it before and it brought tears to my eyes.
dad sang a song i cant remember which one it was now but it touched my heart! there is nothing better then the spirit of Christmas.
after church we enjoyed lunch and opening presents. m&d gave us the greatest present of all! the one that we'd been asking for. they did a kind deed and helped a sister out who needed it. they wrote it down and gave us the letter of how it touched her so much and them as well. that is what Christmas is all about. i cried like a little baby hearing how much this sister was blessed by their kind deed.
truely what Christ would have done.
other than that i got a new Chi that i've been NEEDING ;) ! thank you Cyle. he surprised me by buying a different one and letting me open it first and then giving me the chi to open. haha funny boy. great planning. i had no idea!
it was lots of fun being with all of his family. we got some great photos!
my mom and paul got us a great gift for next year! they bought us a hotel room to stay in in July when we have a family reunion in Lava Hot Springs ID!! woot woot! that's going to be great!
